Founder and CEO, PCOS Foundation
Lisa has over ten years of experience in the medical field, is a personal trainer, and coaches others in the areas of life and wellness. Throughout her career, Lisa witnessed the struggles and frustrations of women who diagnosed themselves with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She first realized these struggles while working alongside with her husband, Dr. Michael Allon. These women suffered for years, only to find that many of their symptoms and lifelong consequences could have been eliminated with early diagnosis and treatment. Finally, Lisa created the PCOS Foundation to help in July of 2010. The PCOS Foundation is one of the few PCOS charities in the U.S. Through her dedication to health and wellness, she believes that the PCOS Foundation will increase awareness so that many lost women and adolescents can find proper treatment and live healthier and happier lives.
