Overview

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine problem in women, affecting as many as 1 in 10. At this time, there is no known cure for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. However, with basic medical management and basic lifestyle changes many women will go on to lead healthier, happier lives to enjoy with their family and friends. Together, we can improve the health and lives of women by creating awareness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and preventing the long term health effects of PCOS. Money raised during the event will provide education, support, and promote further awareness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. The PCOS Awareness Fun Run and Walk benefits the PCOS Foundation, a non-profit organization.
